When you talk of Eurodance or Vocal Trance like some prefers to call it, you talk of high tempo. Eurodance is a genre of music that is all about sounds, beats, instrumentals, and melodious sopranos.

Like the name implied, it originated from Europe in the 1980's and became an instant hit. Today, many music lovers, your's truly included are hopelessly addicted to the adrenaline pumping sounds that is Eurodance.

Our own Dr Alban became famous for composing and performing many Eurodance hits like It's my life, Hello Afrika, One love, etc. He's a naturalized Swede, but still a Nigerian and African at heart like some of his tracks tries to express.

Keeping to form, many of Eurodance best bands and artistes are from Europe, notably from Germany, Sweden, Belgium, United Kingdom and Spain.

Cascada(Germany), Groove Coverage(Germany), AnnaGrace(Belgium), Ace of Base(Sweden), Emma Burnett(UK), Tina Cousins(UK), DJ Sammy(Spain), and Swedish House Mafia(Sweden) are Some of my all time favorite artistes/bands of the genre.

I particular like the hits of AnnaGrace when they were known as Ian Van Dahl, and Cascada. I can go for hours listening to Cascada's hit tracks like Miracle, Who do you think you are, Why you had to leave and Never Ending dream.

Ace of base is probably one of the greatest band of the genre and one of the pioneers. If you are familiar with the band, hit tracks like Travel to Romantis, Life is a flower, Cocoa jambo, and The sign, come to mind.

In honor of my favorite music genre I will strive to share some of the best hits in this thread from time to time, and hopefully lure some into joining the ever increasing Eurodance believers!
