yah Photoshop and Ilustrator does the job cool, mind you for you to get this kind of effect, you must be creative to blend colours together, have some good brushes both on PS and IL and thats all, here is a simple one i did on Ilustrator,

nice design smartsoft, yeah you need brushes to do much designs, am always searching the internet for brushes daily |
