It is not peculiar to the Presidency of Dr Goodluck Ebele (Azikiwe) Jonathan; since the time of monarchial kingdoms, leaders have always been faced with the predicament of knowing which of their aides was forthright and truth full. It is a burden of leadership often ignored when leaders are undergoing training. But it is a real threat to good and effective leadership and history is overflowing with leaders who were marooned by the careless and often self serving advice from their think-tank. Some aides fight their own leader not through arms and ammunition's but rather through wrong advice aimed at achieving the same thing: the removal of their boss in a shameful manner.
