I have observed Nigeria with great nostalgia over the years and have to deduce that the only reason Nigeria is moving slowly and traveling the path of complacency is that the country is doing the same thing the same way. We know what this means; such attitude is against the principle of nature and it can’t just work. You don’t get to move at a faster pace if we just stick with the old tradition of doing things.

Nigeria will continue to struggle and experience retardation until the present crops of politicians step down to give room for new ideas, visions, propellers, and people-oriented leaders.

I don’t blame these politicians for anything; you thought you can deliver Nigeria state from shambles but it is a sham and it won’t just work with the mindset you brought in. you can’t give what you don’t have! Likewise, a tiring footballer will no longer deliver the expected goals no matter how he tries to score. Consistent fatigue and tinkering are the nature of an old player.

Leadership is all about purpose, preparation and perception. You don’t get into it accidentally or else you will fumble. You don’t expect wonders from an ill-prepared man, the caveat is; if he manages to get to the top, his redundancy will expose his weakness.

It is a big shame for some people in this country to still be hoping that something tangible can be achieved with these no ideology-driven set of politicians ruling us. If you try pouring a new wine in an old bottle, one can’t get a new taste because the rottenness of the old bottle will surely stain the sweetness of the wine.

It is madness if everybody jostles for political positions. Politics shouldn’t be for all. It should only be entrusted in the hands of men of impeccable characters with a liberal heart patting for men emancipation. It must be for people that are forthright in their dealings with people, with great foresight and fortified to receive consistent bashing, face numerous challenges and wither the storms.

We should not continue fooling ourselves; Nigeria is straying and drowning. We are too passive in this part of the world. I just hope it won’t be too late before we take a stand and elect worthwhile leaders with great vision and high integrity.

This is a wake-up call to all the old wagons; you have done your bit, time to step aside for new blood to set the stage for proactivity. You have tried at least you have managed Nigeria unity since 1960 but it is time to take a bow and quit the stage for new minds.

To Nigerians; we don’t need crowd to drive this imminent change; we only need few committed and passionate leaders that understand the Nigeria problems and are ever ready to proffer solutions.
