“Lamido Wants To Replace Namadi Sambo As Vice President”, Says Jigawa APC The Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Sule Lamido has been accused of scheming to replace the seating vice president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Architect Namadi Sambo at the completion of the current tenure – starting 2015. The allegation was made today by the interim spokesperson for the All Progressive Congress [APC] in Jigawa State, Hon. Nasiru Garba Dantiye who was also a former national assembly [NASS] member representing Garki Babura federal constituency in Jigawa State. According to the former NASS member and spokesperson for APC Jigawa State, “I want to inform you that Governor Sule Lamido is not fighting for the north as some of you will want to believe. The so called G5 PDP governors are just looking for relevance. We have not forgotten that the role Lamido played to betray the north in 2011.You see the five governors are on their way out and they are just looking for relevance. If the north is their concern what did they do in 2011.As for Lamido he is just interested in replacing Namadi Sambo as VP in 2015 If Jonathan gives him the green light now, all these agitation will fizzle out“. He called on the people of Nigeria and Jigawa state to get ready for emancipation from the evil of the PDP in 2015. “With the registration of APC the coast is clear. We don’t need much the performance of the PDP at the center has already done the campaign for us. As for Jigawa, we know how to handle the PDP. Our merger is strong enough to chase the PDP out of power”

mikeansy:. Ok. You believe the term modern democracy does not apply to Nigeria, but Where in the world is politics not about self interest? The welfare of the people come a distant second. The difference is just that, Nigerian politicians are power mongers who squander and sacrifice every opportunity given to them at the slaughter slab of selfishness. |
