about 2 or 3 months ago my PS3 fell on the floor, the next day I tried to play games but it displayed something about HDD not found. I pulled out the HDD and put it back and swithched the PS3, on but there was no video and audio. if I remove the hdd I get a black screen if i put it back I get NOTHING AT ALL.
Now I tried it again it, still no video nor audio and it does not sync with controller.
In fact when I plug it, the little red light comes up, then i press the ON button it turns green, the eject button is on (both the white and blue lights) I can slot in and out a CD, DVD or BD. but I can't switch the PS3 off, after about 30 to 45 seconds it gives off 3 quick beeps and goes off and the red light starts blinking. I press the ON OFF button it stops blinking and becomes constant I press it again the cycle continues. The hard reset does not work ( I have tried it several times but no avail).

That is YLOD dude your ps3 just died I assume the model was the fat ps3 if so it probably spoilt from overheating I suggest you buy a new one 500gb superslim 60k from any other retail
