I have a problem with my ext HDD. I accessed it this morning and transferred some files,hours later I tried to access it again and my laptop could not find it. I tried it on another laptop again and same thing,both laptops could not even acknowledge it being connected to it. Pls help,what can I do to make it accessible again.I have over 350GB files in the Ext HDD and I cant afford to lose those files. Assistance needed urgently. |

Op, try to use another USB cable to connect it. The cable you are using with it might have gone bad. |

@op, try connecting it to another usb port, also change the usb cable and let us knw if it wks. |

@Koseepaaro....I've tried 3 diff cables,still no show. Even opened the case to see if its connectivity failure,still same thing. |

arcis: @op, try connecting it to another usb port, also change the usb cable and let us knw if it wks. All 3 ports on my laptop still cant find it. Pl what else can I do? |

@op, connect the HDD to a sys that have Win XP on it. Let see if d sys will detect the HDD. Cheers! |
