I tire for those wey dey complain make thm compare d5 and p2....it is very obvious that they are not mate...d5 is a tecno fone without 3g while p2 is a gionee baby with lots of cool stuff..... u shld be compairing gionee p2 with tecno phantom a. Not with some dead d5 that you guys call phone

@Ib151 Thanks for your clarification. why I said so is that even in tecno website, they said embedded, they never mentioned the name. I don't know why tecno act unprofessional. you can't get clear spec from them. I want to buy another makes because the frequency supported is only one band each especially 3g 2100Mhz only, I need 900/2100 also I need GPS navigation off data. Thanks.

hey guys. am a big fan of this p2. nice cell. for great price. i just gat one question to ask your veiws and suggestions will be highly appreciated. pls which andriod phone would who recommend i purchase which falls within my budget of 18k to 23k.

P2 screeen display is better dan Tecno D5 and both hav 4" screen size. If u prefer D5 over P2, nobody stops u 4rm buying it. Right now, no other phone in this segment rivals GP2.

All those p2 critics for this room.... it's obvious you don't know phone..... is it because d5 is sold for 16k and has 4.0inch that's why you are compairing it with p2?? i sorry for all of you... d5 my foot..... my worse tecno phone ever

btw: uv been repeating this comparison questions ova and ova again while answers hav been given 2 u on several occasions.
The best review u can get is to walk down to the shop and hav a better view of the phone.

Hi all p2/android users, having seen the features of G2, i must tell you it's a nice phone, but since mtn has blocked bis tethering for android, and android is well known for it's high consumption of data.. VPN is now the way out, my question is i heard that droidvpn/openvpn doesn't open googleplay and whatsapp. IS THAT TRUE? Also since mtn #1000 bis data is capped at 350mb, does it mean that when you exceed 350mb data limit, it will stop browsing? PLS I NEED YOUR REPLIES

MTN bis is capped at 3gig either daily, weekly or nonthly... I know most of you guys use droidvpn but the problem is that you can't use more than 100mb daily.... umnet.net/downloadFile.ashx?style=software&id=25582 goto that link and download droidvpn 1.4 it has only one sever and it's unlimited

The p2 better pass. v1 is single core 1Ghz A9, 320*480 pixel, Android 4.0.4 ICS, 2MP While p2 is Dual core 1.3Ghz A7, 480*820 pixel, Android 4.2 Jelly been 5MP.

Do you mean it has UC browser only? if that is only issue a lot of nice browser full Play store like Dolphin etc.

Anything android gadget ( Android PC, Android stick, Android Tablet, Android cosole, Android phone, Android PDA ) Must come wit android core features. These features are playstore, gmail, gtalk, google search, gmap and voice search. Be it chinko or made in nigeria. Since it is running android, these features should must be there
