Hi guys, just decided to take up a small project with JavaScript and threeJS( A WebGL framework for creating 3D) because its what am familiar with, the only issue right now is how to handle the blocks, i know its array based thing, but sadly i can't think of a better way, just wanted to get an idea, also because this is meant to be a challenge i'd prefer not to get source codes from you guys but just a discussion of how to draw the board in a good way, thanks all hoping to test myself. all the best.

Auto generated classes and numerical id's for the blocks?
Horizontal: a-z
Vertical: 1-0

For each block, it's class would be Horizontal + vertical (example: a1, a2, a3 etc.)
The id's will be used to calculate where to drop seeds. (example; if a seed is on a block of id 10. The player throws a dice and gets 4, the seed should be moved to 10 + 4 = 14)

Hope i am making sense

I don't really grasp but the auto generated id doesn't sound bad, will still work up a concept though
