Here are world's longest domain names. I didn't click your link, but I know because you are a desperate blogger, yours will not be any of these longest domains.

According to domain registrars, the longest a domain can be is 63 characters starting with a letter or number.

1. http://www.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592.com/

2. http://www.abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijk.com/ (This one is even a free email service.)

3. http://www.thelongestdomainnameintheworldandthensomeandthensomemoreandmore.com/

4. http://www.llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.co.uk/

Number 1, 2 and 3 are 63 long. They are the longest. Number 4 is 58 long.

What about the world's shortest domain name. Well, there are many of them, but if you are not a big multinational company, you will not be allowed to have a domain name that is less than three letters unless you have millions of dollars to pay. Average domain name starts from three letters (which is nearly impossible to find again because they have all been registered) and above. One letter domain, which is the shortest domain name is reserved for the Ogas at the top.

Google has purchased the shortest possible domain name to make it easier for Chinese users to find Google: http://www.g.cn. And interestingly also, http://www.g.com.

Along with most other single-letter and single-digit domain names are reserved by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority. The IANA is the master arbiter of domain names and addresses on the Internet. There are a few one-letter domain names out there, though: http://www.z.com is owned by Nissan, http://www.q.com by Qwest, and http://www. is owned by PayPal. Etc.
