jude33084: What is the ratio of the christians and muslims members in the house? wink

Then we can start from there grin

You are so self centered, its your type that destroy this country, very unpatriotic. The Speaker and most principal officers of house are Christians but they are trying to do justice to the whole situation as much as possible and very carefully.

@ Smemud

The Assembly passed a resolution to empower the Deputy Governor and not the Deputy Speaker as being suggested by your headline. Please ammend the title asap.

Some few questions please:
(1) Where did they sit and passed that resolution?
(2) Was their symbol of authority there, in this case the mace? Because without the mace their resolution is not binding.
(3) Why 9 out of 16 loyal to the deputy Governor that signed the resolution?
(3) Did they form any quorum before sitting?

Somebody enlighten me please.

ebamma: just when i was trying to respect the acting governor as a very loyal man, he showed his true colours, suntai was voted to that position by the taraba electorates, if he is to be removed, a referendum should be organised to determine what the people really want

WTF!!! Are you Suntai loyalist or you have just hopelessly refused to give way to reasoning? The Taraba State Assembly, representatives of the Taraba people is carrying out their responsibility as the voice of the Taraba people and you are here calling for the people of Taraba and referendum...

You're thinking with me. Suntai is a Christian while his deputy is Muslim. Religious politics playing out here. But to be sincere the Suntai I watched in the video released is not fit to be continue as governor and the constitution is clear on what to do about this, christian or muslim.

Taraba state is governed by the constitution. It is clear that there is ambiguity concerning the Governor's health and his fitness to rule. One would think that by now the instance of getting a medical expert to examine the governor by now, would have been settled.
In this light, the relevant clauses should be invoked so that a just and amicable decision be taken.

The acting governor has been loyal for 10 months and is still loyal. Our problem is that we are blindfolded to the truth. Let us all wake up and decide never to support evil anymore. I am a Christian and an Igbo but I am so interested in Taraba affairs because I schooled in Wukari. Its time the acting governor takes full charge of the affairs of the state. THIS IS THE TRUTH WE ALL KNOW. Let us not be quick to forget Turai Yaradua saga. We are all watching and waiting. God bless Taraba, God bless Nigeria.

The Deputy Gov. Of Taraba state is a good man to have kept faith with the Gov. Until now..its clear for every1 to see that Danbaba Suntai isnt sound Mentally and Physically for the rigours of governance especially in these testing times when the Pdp is factionalized. In order not to worsen his condition but ensure a steady recovery, Danbaba Suntai shud take a break from Politics and the Assembly thereby shud swear in his Deputy as Governor.

Exactly!!!
We need to decide if we should be a country of Law & Order or whether we want to remain a country of emotions & anarchy. This is not about religion. Is Jonathan not a Christian who FINALLY replaced Yar'Adua, a muslim as Acting president when Turai's cabal refused to cede power peacefully
That was not too long ago- about three years to be precise.
