Abuja - Channel O and Forbes has compiled a
definitive list of Africa’s wealthiest musical
performers based on their record sales,
endorsement deals, investments and media
presence.
Akon, the Senegalese R&B artist and CEO of
Konvict Music, topped the list that also included
Nigerian producer, performer and Mo' Hits Records
CEO Don Jazzy, EME recording artist Wizkid and the
platinum selling 2Face Idibia.
Nigerian artists dominated the list behind Akon
with identitcal twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye,
known on stage as P-square, appearing on the list
for the second time.
