Being a phone and gadget freak and an ardent follower of latest developments in the phone/gadget/tech world, i decided to bring this to our notice also having it in mind that there are other gadget freaks like me here on NL.

SONY RELEASES THE 'SONY XPERIA Z1' SMARTPHONE.
After months of speculations, Sony has finally released the long awaited 'Sony Xperia Z1' (Sony Honami)smartphone which is a sequel its predecessor,Sony xperia Z. The phone which was unveiled on wednesday by Sony's CEO, Kaz Hirai during the IFA consumer electronics conference in Berlin combines a 'sleek waterproof body with a whooping 20.7 megapixel camera sensor!!! which Sony claims is 'the world's leading camera in a smartphone'. It also has the ability of streaming recorded videos on facebook in real-time!!!

-A 5inch capacitive display[touchscreen]
-2.2GHz Qualcomm snapdragon 800 processor
-Adreno 330 graphics for quality display
-2GB RAM
-16GB Internal storage(with a MicroSD card slot)

-Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS
-3,000mAh non removable battery
-Colours....black,purple or white.
The smartphone will be going on sale later this month.
