Would You Quit Your Job, If It Affects Church? by Nobody: 10:53am On Sep 08, 2013
For example, if you have to go to work on sunday, which results to missing Sunday morning church service.
Would you quit your job in such scenario? Try to give reasons

Or in a more pleasant scenario, you have to alternate with someone in your workplace, thereby missing church once in three weeks, i.e going to work on sunday once in three weeks. Would you?

HAPPY SUNDAY

I won't.
BTW, going to church consistently every sunday doesn't really make me a true christian.
If I live a Christ-Like Life, I may decide to attend Sunday service once in a while.

This days, most people who go to church every sunday are people who are just born into christian family not really born again christians, so for them to sacrifice their jobs for a cause that they are neither in nor out i dnt think so and besides decent jobs are not easy to come by in this country. Well, for me i dnt even have job, i did nt go to church today coz of money so for me to quit d job when i finally get one am gonna need 50yrs to think about it.

Thankfully, almost every Catholic Church has evening mass. But any job that would prevent me from attending mass throughout sunday consistently is for someone else, not me.

Why would I do something like that, would the church feed me?

Even the bible says faith without work is in vain.

1-Morning service
2-Afternoon service
3-Evening service.

No need to quit your job. Choose one option that you are comfortable with

I will only stop my job if it stops me from serving, trusting worshiping and believing God. Been in a church building everyday is not what counts. What if I find meself where there are no churches.

If every bus driver sits @ home on sundays, phcn sit @ home, police seat @ home, how would u find your way to church and conduct a proper worship. I think worshipping God is more from ur heart than been in a church building on sunday.

I don't fear He who could issue me an employment I Fear him who can give and take oxygen, health, life, prosperity
I fear him who is Above cos HE that is ABOVE is Above ALL including a stuuuupidd Job

If u can skip church because of a job den God can skip ur prayers, afterall everybody gives honor to whosoever honors them..

Besides I don't even go to church, so this question's not for me.

It depends on d job. Military/paramilitary jobs may stop u 4m sunday services. Unles i works offshore,no job can make me to CONSISTENTLY stop going to church. Though duty may cal but not always a sunday - sunday affair
Re: Would You Quit Your Job, If It Affects Church? by Nobody: 12:21pm On Sep 08, 2013
Except you're an entrepreneur, why would a job require you working everyday of the week, sunday included??

The pay had better be a skyscraper.

Except of course it's a shift job, in that case... Cool.

Meanwhile the muslims still go to work on fridays, and go to pray when the time comes. So maybe a Christian that works on sunday can do same.
