just discovered this thread and I want to thank idy4eva for his posts. he's been honest, realistic and straightforward to the best of my knowledge. I have a kid bro who passed out with the SFO-10 set. Mr idy4eva has just affirmed what my bro told me including my bro own personal experiences at the school and work.
through my brother I've become an aviation enthusiast myself. please Mr Idy4eva kindly lemme know when the AME program - A&P n Avionics - are starting this year. if you have details on bristow sponsored students in the same programs, kindly inform me please.
keep up the good work. God bless you

balash: Thank you as always bro! You have always been helpful...I searched online and I saw another helpful organisation also traiNing airline flight dispatcher's. !! Its just 4000$ and its in U.S.A...including paying some fee's and i-20 would be sent down and I would use that in processing of my visa and stuffs would only want to ask what do u feel about it? And hope its the same course u mentioned earlier on? But this one dint specialise on ur qualification's as studying of science related course's ? Is it a must that I must use a bsc in sciencee related course??

Hope you aren't talking of IFOD. that's a good school but they basically train students on becoming a flight dispatcher. Their least requirement is a high school certificate (waec in nigeria) and a good command of English language (ability to read and write). I've heard pretty good testimonies about the school. Best of luck in your search tho

balash: FAA Approved through the Dallas/Fort Worth FAA Flight Standards District Office......This is what I saw..

I think it's IFOD you are referring to here. It's a very good school. They take courses mainly on aircraft dispatch which after the 5 weeks accelerated course you'll become an FAA Approved Flight Dispatcher /Flight Operations Officer

@blackobico, good day. I have seen your message. I don't know your academic qualification, if B.Sc, you still stand a chance though the opportunities are quite few and far between. Arik Air still sponsors but quite few because a lot of people with PPL go to their office to plead for sponsorship reducing the chances for "freshers". I have been out of circulation and lost my phone so a lot of contacts. I will check on my friends that fly for Aero, Arik and Discovery to know if there are opportunities. For now not much info. Wishing you a great day
