Please do I need a specific insurance company for Vilnius University or anyone is fine? And I'd like to know if the insurance will cover for my TRP application when i get there.
Secondly, does Vilnius University send immigration documents in hard copy only, and how long does it take?

I recently got admission into Vilnius university in Lithuania and as part of the requirements, I can see that I have to provide a criminal record certificate.
Please does anyone know how to go about getting this and what is required, as well as a time frame for obtaining it?
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Ja4hana005: 9:42am On Jun 15
If you are in Lagos, go to the state ciid at obalende, close to the passport office, you can get the certificate there. You have to pay for it, 25k or more “ not too sure on the price”

Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Oblang(m): 10:29pm On Jun 15
Is there a special document to show proof of ties?
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by elhakiimed(m): 11:20pm On Jun 15
How long did it take? Perhaps the high fee is for express service or something
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by dharey27: 5:59am On Jun 16
Document was out in under an hour.
The problem is there is no official rate. It depends on the inspector you meet and how you bargain.
But I have been told the average cost is max 10 grand.
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by elhakiimed(m): 6:25am On Jun 16
Thanks for this clarity.
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by elhakiimed(m): 6:34am On Jun 16
But affidavit of sponsor, sponsor letter, and introduction letter should be the document to show your ties. I am not sure, but I intend adding a photo I appeared in with my sponsor as further proof.

Things you must note when applying to schools in Lithuania
Your certificate: try to have the original copy of your certificate from your school, it might be needed when applying for admission and SKVC.
Applying for Undergraduate, NECO, WAEC AND ONE YEAR AFTER STUDIES CERTIFICATE ( PLS NO COMBINATION)
For master's degree: for undergraduate you can use waec or neco result, 2.1 SECOND CLASS UPPER, university certificate and apply for your transcript. You can use a job or any company to get the transcript as the school will expect you to submit it during application. Contact an agent or the school before apply. The school has 100s of student from other countries, agents are the best means ( 3rd class is a red flag but our agency knows the schools and how you can take advantage for while in Lithuania to make your study period easy.
TOP THREE CITIES WITH LARGE POPULATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS
1. Vilnius has more student work like car wash, dish washing ,hotel and bar work, cleaning, engineering work(labour) etc if you can speak Lithuania, Russia or German language you can get very good job but the city is expensive.
2. Kaunas: Has jobs for students in restaurants, bar startup companies and after studies new companies are setting up everyday.
3. Klaipeda: Nice place with job opportunities with tuition and education affordable.
Admission: When you meet admission requirement and pay application fees, you must pay first year tuition fee before Acceptance Letter is sent to you. There is no scholarship or grant until you finish the first year for BSC and One semester MSC before you can apply for Erasmus programme or exchange. But we can guild you the best schools for exchange in Japan, UK, South Korea and Canada for nursing.
Choose embassy for Visa: The school will ask you which embassy you want to apply for visa there are two Turkey and South Africa.
Steady communication with school or agent: Communicate with the agent, its better to pay for services than to apply to the school and get rejected, money wasted and emotional depression. Small service charge saves you alot
Prepare for your interview: Different embassy different requirements, have all documents ready and notarized.
Visa approval or denial: when they give you the passport search from the first page till the last page, your visa can be in the last page.
Runaway decision/ I get people for EU: please before you make stupid decision make sure you understand that decision may affect other Nigerians in future, countries like India, Congo, Cameroon, Ghana in the past had visas denied and rejected because students from these countries ran away after entering Lithuania and have these TRP REVOKED ended up as refugees. DO NOT MAKE A DECISION THAT WILL END YOU UP IN MORE MISERY.
Please is your first year fees given back to you if visa is denied? YES (100%)

Hello House, pls has any one here submitted of recent? Say May 30th? If so pls have you been called for interview? And for those yet to submit I heard there is a slight change in submission now, you must take your documents to Ministery of Education & Foreign Affairs For Authentication before you can Submit at VFS
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by nikhald: 9:50pm On Jun 16
Pls I need a reply on this urgently, has any1 been called for Interview @ VFS here say last month ending till now?.
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by elhakiimed(m): 6:38am On Jun 17
I think this is the normal thing to do. Authenticate in MOFA and MOE, then go to vfs.
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Oblang(m): 11:04am On Jun 17
Which of the documents will they authenticate?
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Dwestofficial12: 3:17pm On Jun 17
Yes it's now on Vfs website as the official thing to do that all visa documents be attested at MOF and MOE respectively before submission. Notary public and Highcourt stamps are not acceptable anymore
