The sudden invasion signifies the era of sustainable peace and security in Abia State and indeed the entire South East Nigeria. The Army Officers are in town to also enjoy the peaceful Abia State.

In addition, it is literally a pen and paper gathering of the Nigerian Army officers or simply put: The Nigerian Army Officers are in Umuahia Abia State for 3 days to learn how to transform the Nigerian Army.

As an Abian, this is the making of history, an elite Defence Institute is almost completed at Isu3 plus the first Command Secondary School in Abia State. The Nigerian Army is now investing justly in Abia State since the era of President Jonathan’s Decentralized Transformation agenda. We now see the impact of a worthy Chief of Army Staff in his area. Kudos to H.E. T.A. Orji for creating the atmosphere of peace and security in Abia State and at the same time, putting Abia State on the spotlight in the Mainstream.
