The reason is obvious. Those offshore financiers know that IGBO people can and will pay. The Enugu DISCO will be the most viable in terms of quick return on investments.
I congrutulate Pres. Jonathan on his efforts to make sure we have constant eletricity in Nigeria. That is why i want him to remain till 2019. No charlatans should come and scuttle the whole privatisation agenda.

frenex: When I was a kid,I used to shout up Nepa! Whenever light is restored!. Now I have a child that also shouts Nepa!!! Even with the change of name PHCN. I hope his own child will not shout "up NEPA "with this. EMS smiley

This issue of name changing I pray it brings constant light, so that it will not be like issue of ECONET- ZAIN- AITEL and with that poor performance.

nobody is given them name, it is the inefficiency,ineffectiveness and their bureaucracy always give them names; I also prefer ur EMS cos it will be benefit of us all.

If private organisation has bought PHCH,my question is why is our government still telling us that they [Government] would boost power to 20,000megawalt by 2016? Or will our government still be managing EMS? I smell rat

Prof NEBO should find ways of stopping monthly fixed charges. It a complete robbery and rape of consumer. While will I pay 500 naira for service not render, I paid for my prepaid meter, I paid for service wire, I even bought electrical pole. Why must I pay monthly service charged
