I tried to verify my site via webmaster using google site verification but i cant each time try i get stucked with the error could plz help me out here my name is ojedokun oladele,my email is oladeles712@gmail.com,my cell no is 08106908449.I will if u guyz could help me out i will be waiting for your comments.

How have you being doing it? What platform does your website run? Do you have access to you root (cpanel)?

The way I do it every time.

1. When you get to the verification page, choose to verify by unloading file to root.

2. Download the file.

3. Upload to your root, either use cpanel's file manager or ftp client like filezilla.

4. After uploading it to www/

If example the files name is verifyMe.xml and yoursite is www.example.com then visit www.example.com/verifyMe.xml you should see the file display some codes.

5. Now go back and click verify.

Note: I just used some words personally,what you might find there might be a little different, but this should help
