Its quite amazing walking down the streets in Africa and seeing both the old and young ones walk around with heavy property on their heads for hours either trading goods or moving their wares from one place to the other amidst extreme temperature. Is it an over-emphasized suffering,culture or just mere pleasure as it often displeases me eachtime I set my eyes on men and women moving around with heavy baggage having less concern as regards their health and other repercussions. What's your take on these ! Is it a Culture or just mere impoverishment. |
