Guys, for certain reasons and consecration to my faith, I decided to embark on a 3-day fast.

Today being the first, I'm entirely not sure what the rules are anymore.

1. Sometime at noon, I subconsciously walked to the dispenser, filled a cup and sipped some cold water, a second later, I almost spat out on my desk, when I recalled my mission.

2. I was invited to my boss' office for a chat. I facepalmed and realized I may have 'dragon breath'. For the same reason of keeping my ritual sacrosanct and maintaining a reputation for good hygiene, I had to pop a chewing gum.

Was my fast officially broken with any of the 2 situations mentioned above, or whispering an apology to God for the acts nullifies them?

Mostly what i do is just wash my mouth with brush alone but if im out i use just water and my index finger if the smell is that bad. Although islamically, the smell is what Allah loves most so sometimes i dont bother about the smell during the day till after i break.
