We wept we wept we wept Our eyes out! hrt dpress Nt bcus she worth a tear Allowed fury bewitch us Six feet lay her corpse A livin bein of yesterday Stone hrt hrtless lik thorn Taunt us witout remorse Thou knew 2 wrongs make no rit Bt 4 how long shll we bear? Thousand days done persever Her coin flare pay her back! In retaliation 'mean she' drop Lik autumn leaf whither off Leaving us bear our cross Shud ve known let grudge be Instead bear this quit of a deal we can't un-deal. |

WE WEPT Alas earth died in chagrin Crashing into the abyss None by its side to bury it Not even a rose flower was dropped Eyes remained dry Knuckles clenched and unclenched War abated by a silent humming We wept!! We wept we wept we wept Our sorrows untouched Grief tore our hearts to pieces As we laid dying with earth None to ever bury us None to sing a dirge Even the hired mourners died So who wept?? Our sins wept for us Righteousness mocked us Our inventions laid in ruins Hope played the flute We died with dear mother earth None to dispose our corpses The vultures hovered above Weeping in joy!!! |
