JONATHAN, BARAK LEAD 700 DELEGATES TO CYBERSECURITY CONFAB

The first lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, and the former Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Ehud Barak, will lead about 700 leaders of thought, including a high level team from the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to the 3rd World Cyber Security Conference, scheduled for next week at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja. Among the 700 select leaders, are top government functionaries at the Federal and State levels, State Governors and their wives, National Assembly members and their Leaders, Chief Executives, Military and Intelligence Chiefs, Foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners among others. The cybersecurity conference will map out new strategies to secure government and business assets, personal security including Child Online Protection and online e-commerce transaction on the cyberspace. The conference has the theme: ‘Cyber Insecurity- A Latent Threat to National Security and Economic Development’. It will be hosted by the first lady, who is ITU-IMPACT Champion on Child Online Protection (COP).
