My ToT...

Since BBM has gone cross platform, the number of BB users would actually fall which would also affect the BIS subscription done. So I think the Network Providers are in loss. To keep the income steady, BIS too needs to go cross platform. Lets see what they think about this.

For peeps or news saying Blahs about the BBM being a Virus. Thats a foul cos a friend entered his the mail he used on a Blackberry device and all his contact were restored automatically which simply means it is connected to the BlackBerry server.

Yes I think its still in its BETA cos any settings made in the app would not save. Like the Vibrate ... etc. Someone put me right if wrong.

Also, yes it works with VPN connection cos that wat I used to activate mine.

I thank God that blackberry has shut down their servers,atleast I go hear word small,all those my pin,my pin go stop atleast for 3 days or more.

Are u using free data?
BIS subscribers drop, data subscription on other platforms rises.

I advice those who downloaded from the play store to uninstall ASAP. I tried downloading earlier today, and my android antivirus warned me that the installation contained malware. Of course I promptly aborted the installation. I am thinking that BB shutdown their server to prevent the compromised fake BBM apps from compromising their own servers.

As much as I like android, I always wonder why google can't get a better grip on the play store apps to protect users.
