So far I av served 3months out of my service year(BACTH B13).....n I av saved nxt 2 nuttin,currently doin a program worth 45k n hopin 2 do more.....no state or ppa alawe jes 19800(no parents/bf alawe grin.It has nt bin easy buh m thankful sha....(Batch C no vex o)

kudos to those that saved below 50k and extra kudos to those that saved above 50k, while in service cos it will surely come to good use after service year.

i see some people critising others that saved. its very wrong. if they deprieved themselves of good life, babe, good clothes, good phones just cos they want to have some tangible after service to keep them going. then u critics r wrong

YES 19800 + state allawee is not enough for an average youth monthly. but if u deprieve yourself of irrelevant spending/things you can save.

DANGOTE, TRUMP, BUFFET,JOBS,WAYNE all saved and didnt spend stupidly cos they are rich. they invested the money they would have spent having a good time on important things.

some corpers rather spend 70k on a phone than spend 70k on a biz that will fetch 10k monthly.

i saved aboved 150k and if u need details i can share with u.

Wow. So all there corpers i see go through alot. How can an adult's savings over an entire year be 17k, 15k, 21k and so on. I pray FG scrap it by the time i get to that age smiley

I bought a compaq cq58 laptop, an htc phone(used sha!), 2 readymade suits, 2 good italian shoes, will change my wardrobe, and invest the last allowee. I thank God, because its not my strenght

Sorry 2say dis ondo state government frustrated my plans since October 2012 we have not received up 60k state allawee owed 2us in public schools

Benue state sucks, PPA not encouraging but was able to save 74K at the moment excluding the awaiting double allowee.

After completing your compulsory National assignment
(NYSC) what next?

Find a job or start a business?

Getting a job is a good one, you need to focus
were your services are most needed. You stand
a chance of getting the job than diversifying your
energy here and there. Other tips:

1. prepare your CV. Let your CV stand out.
2. prepare for interview
3. walk in with confident, avoid tension.
4. answer questions like an expert.
5. wait for your invitation for interview.

The other one is to start a business.
Starting a business in Nigeria is hard work.
You need to have idea of the business you want to start.
You need finance/capital/start up cash
You office space or shop.
and many other things.

Gifted4all: i served in enugu last yr i bought a laptop send enuf cash for my siblings,paid my gf school fees nd finally went home with 98k.enugu is d best state to serve
