Please what part of Ondo Town are you? My people live at the beginning of Gani Fawehinmi street, coming through Lafenwa Street, but our compound is a bit raised higher than the houses around there.

I'm not too familiar with the places but the affected parts I'm aware of are around Funbi Fagun, Ife Rd (Esporta) and Valentino.

The rain eventually stopped around 4 pm.

While our colleagues are busy studying weather patterns and examining the effects of global warming, the only explanation we give here is

Bad drainage isn't helping matters too. We experience heavy rainfall annually but u what u see being built in our cities are just narrow open gutters...

You then see rubbish being dumped in these gutters, blocking easy flow of water. As a result, you get buildings getting flooded.

That rain serious o, almost three days self. From Sunday evening to Monday morning till Night and Tuesday morning. Na the love wey God grt for Ondo people, na him he stop the rain.

I think these are signs of end times. GOD said he shall end the world with water, now flood everywhere in all country.

Please GOD forgive us of our sins.

I BASE IN AKURE IT IS MORE THAN 24 HOURS
APPROXIMATELY 60 HOURS. IT STOPPED
AROUND 12 NOON YESTERDAY SINCE
SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
