@ Everyone. Be abit patriotic, let’s wish our own luck (that’s what they need) for now as you predict. I start my previews with the Africa teams who to be honest, they provide nothing much to shout about in terms of real latter stages participation as all the big names Cameroon, Nigeria and Senegal. It’s a shame I would have loved to see Eto’o,Obafemi Martins, Obi Mikel & Henri Camara but its no use moaning about it. Tunisia, Angola, Togo, Ivory, & Ghana getting to World cup is an achievement regardless of whatever happens. |

Greetings pals Long time! but do I say. ANGOLA -has a relatively easy group with Portugal, Iran & Mexico. If the young lads handle business well, stand a good chance of second round or not finishing last in this group. Key player to watch here is this Benfica striker Mantorras. I held GHANA in a low esteem after that Nations cup show. Even with Essien missing I expected much from them since their bulk squad is based in Europe. I hear 10 players from Shenanigans in Egypt tournament (CAF) were dropped. Ghana will suffer from stage fright. Guys! Italy, US, and Czech Republic? God help us! IVORY COAST is another team which didn’t impress me in CAF especially from an attacking prospective. I expected a more verve from DD Drogba and that Aruna Kone. Sad! Solo Kalou won’t play after snubbing the team to acquire whatever coup detats citizenship. Happy Bony Kalou is around. No doubt! My three versions of Princes’ Williams. Eboue, Toure, DD will shine. My only Arsenal pair will provide a very solid foundation. Ouch –very unlucky to draw Holland, Argentina & those Magomere men! Is that their name? Romaric Ndri and Zokora were good in CAF> TOGO could be the surprise package in World cup, with flanctuating Adebayor copycat version of kanu, not bad if wont be a cry baby. If Togo players give him service defences of France, Switzerland, and South Korea might feel him. TUNISIA being the only African team to have ever played World cup, I regard them the most talented and balanced with speedy Zairi& lover boy Dos Santos |

Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by Priscila(f): 12:11pm On Jun 12, 2006 |
Africa are not doing very bad in World cup. Look at Cote and angola, coming out in second half ready for a gallant battle I applause the two for now |
Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by otokx(m): 12:33pm On Jun 12, 2006 |
ivory coast lost their first match 1 - 2, angola lost theirs 0 -1, although trindad and tobago drew with sweden, i don't forsee any incredible performace from the other african teams. Infact ivory coast tried by scoring. |
Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by dblock(m): 4:54am On Jun 13, 2006 |
Fifa is evil pure evil. I'ts quite cruel that the year when Africa has it's weakest sides apart from maybe Ivory coast. They then say that if an African team makes it to or past the quarter finals Africa will get an extra slot in the world cup. I dey steam o |
Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by Priscila(f): 9:56am On Jun 13, 2006 |

Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by seeker(m): 10:54am On Jun 13, 2006 |

Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by Priscila(f): 4:34pm On Jun 13, 2006 |
Togo should send that Vodoo witch to the village right away and then give their lives to Christ. I detested the idea. Trust in God always and not human beings. |
Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by otokx(m): 4:59pm On Jun 13, 2006 |
the voodoo priest shown on cnn was already in the village. |
Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by leilata(f): 10:51pm On Jun 13, 2006 |

Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by mochafella(m): 10:57pm On Jun 13, 2006 |
Priscila: erm, according to the Voodoo priest, God failed them at CAN 2006 in Egypt. I wonder what his excuse will be now that S. Korea has kicked their ass. He'll probably blame the referee. leilata:From what I saw it will be Togo all the way back to Lome after the 1st round. |
Re: Africa’s Chase In Germany? by leilata(f): 11:06pm On Jun 13, 2006 |
You must admit the guys tried!!!!!! with all the problems we had money stupid football association 3 different coachs in a very short period total chaos and at the start of the game they sang the Korean anthem TWICE because they had a technical error and then sang the Togolese one!!! a football match starts in the head those players were not mentally equipped for the game and they still tried. they gave africa hope for the first 60mins!!! the first yellow card was badly given to Jean paul abalo so he shouldnt have been sent off!!! so UP TOGO |
