EUROPE BEST FREE KICK TAKER'S

* In Europe's top 5 leagues Cristiano Ronaldo attempted more free kicks than anybody, a total of 49 followed by Pirlo and A.diamanti both tied at 37

*Despite attempting less free kick than Ronaldo, A. Pirlo is the joint top free kick scorer last season with F.Lodi of Catania, both having 5goals. Ronaldo is 3rd with 4goals.

* Incidentally the player with the
highest conversion rate from free-
kicks across Europe’s top five
leagues is also doing his business in
Ligue 1 and his identity is perhaps
the one that will raise the most
eyebrows. Bastia’s 22-year-old
Tunisia international Wahbi Khazri
scored three, like Zlatan Ibrahimovic,
but from only 15 attempts, bending
them beyond the goalkeepers of
Bordeaux, PSG and Brest to make the
net swell. His rate of return from
free-kicks was 20%, which makes him
definitely one to watch next season. Neither Ronaldo nor Pirlo comes close as Ronaldo has a conversion rate of just 8.2% while Pirlo has 13.51% rate.
