In the spirit of Patriotism and Independence I embarked on a project to photograph 53 Nigerians from different walks of life holding the national flag and wishing fellow Nigerians a happy 53rd Independence.

In the course of this project I got a lot of complaints from workers about the hard economy. I really pray that help and growth in all sectors will be experienced soon.

At some point in our (less-than-100-years) life, we shall sit down and ponder gravely the consequences of our in-action today, our pedestrian opinions and hopeless prayers to for divine intervention on issues we create for ourselves.. the same way we rile our Past and Present Leaders will our children and grand-children curse us.

We sit on the verge of descent into chaos, yet we blissfully ignore all the signs, 1 man's death sparked a change sweeping across the face of the middle-east. 20,000+ deaths later, we still smirk as if those lives mean nothing.. surely we shall pay for our in-actions .. our children will pay just as we are paying for the sins of our forefathers (coincidentally, they are still very much around)

I support you. Our flags should have lowered to half staff for 7day mourning. Unfortunately our President is more interested in Rivers politics than he is in national politics. May their souls rest in peace.

I truly believe that schools in NE should be closed.

i can compare america to nigeria anyday! What ur saying is because john is 62 years and he has a rangerover, then i that is 18yrs and i dont have a RR i cant compare my self to john? must i wait till im 62 b4 i buy a rangerover? When i have the money!
