Half a decade and three ago. Millions of hearts beat as one. These hearts were bound by race, geographical borders and rulers, but now they were bound by the noblest of causes; FREEDOM! I was not born, but the euphoria of that glorious dawn still burns. Our hearts should once again beat as one as we celebrate our home and Nation. A Nation blessed among nations. My fellow Nigerians, we celebrate not because of what we have achieved, but we celebrate because there is better days to come. For faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen. Arise and celebrate o compatriot, for someday we shall get there. Happy independence 9ja. Like this post.... |
