53 years of indepence,is it worth celebrating? by Abbasadaji(m): 7:45am On Oct 01, 2013
The first thing i was told this morning was happy independence and i began to wonder what we're celebrating, corruption?bad leadership?a dead educational system?bad roads?insecurity or unemployment?
It is shame that ASUU strike would be three months on first October and our govt. wouldjust sit and do nothing about it because they are not affected.
Our roads have become so bad that they're now death traps, where is the countries allocation going.
The poor will continue to be poor while the rich will stay rich and they don't even care about the poor.
We should be ashamed rather than celebrate that the so-called giants of Africa have nothing to show for 53yrs of independence.
