Dear Lord
We are grateful for your love and care over the years
Nigeria still exist because of ur grace.
We also thank you for our leaders.
Today mark another independence day
Despite the hard times through the years,
We still stood as one.

We pray that may God continue to bless Nigeria and her citizens.
Let there be peace and unity.
Give the leaders wisdom to lead and rule wisely.
Provide for the poor and needy.
Give shelter to the homeless and food to the hungry.
Let there be love among us.
Make Nigeria a great nation.
