I ported off the mtn network for etisalat over 3 months ago.I enjoyed and suffered the following:
Enjoyed these:
*Lesser call rates to all network
*Better network services for calls and internet surfing(though I think this vary from place to place)
*I enjoy 100 percent bonus on each recharge.unlike mtn,bonus isn't charged above normal tariff
*I feel like the boss and etisalat the servant(reverse for mtn)
Suffered these:
*Immediately stopped receiving bank alerts.(There has been fraud on my account as a result)
*Stopped receiving international sms
*Can't transfer nor receive airtime from an etisalat network.
*Etisalat numbers can't call me with their bonus airtime designed to call only etisalat lines
*Very expensive calling international numbers(unlike mtn where I can easily add one on my family and friends list).

I'm so confuse and don't know if I should port back.
Please advise me and share your experience as well.

Let me tell u mine. I port 2 Glo frm Airtel. I mistakely dialled a code which make my Airtel line 2 enter biznes tariff plan. I try 2 migrate bck bt no avail, even cal CC bt dey said it is permanent. And I port 2 Glo, n dat time Glo introduce bounce plan. Why Glo? because if I recharge #200, I ve 30mb, cal all ntwrk at 12k/sec afta 1st min 40k/sec best call rate amøng dat network so far, n 2 bounce plan jst 5k/sec n campus Glo.
At first I didnt enjoy d mb cos it zoom off wen jst browse bt d call rate was ok. Now I dey browse tire, cos dat mb wil reach wk. Browse browse like neva b4. I de enjoy ma GLO.
