The Team Manager of Kwara United FC of Ilorin, Ibrahim Agbola, has expressed deep shock over the death of a former player of the team, Sanni Abacha.

Sanni Abacha
The  former Super Eagles player died in Ilorin in the early hours of Thursday, aged 35.
Agbola while speaking on Thursday in Ilorin described Abacha as a committed player who took his job seriously while playing for the Afonja Warriors.
He also described his death as a great loss to the football fraternity in Nigeria, adding that he died when the country needed his services most.
Agbola prayed that God would give the Abacha family the fortitude to bear the loss. Sources close to the family said that Abacha was hale and hearty as at the close of midweek Globacom Premier League match between ABS and Nasarawa United in Ilorin.
The Kogi born ex-player was said to have slumped later in the night and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Ilorin where he died.
Abacha played for Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan between 1996 and 1997 before he moved to Kwara Utd in 1998. He later left the Afonja Warriors in 2000 and joined Enyimba International in 2001.
Abacha moved to Sharks of Port Harcourt in 2002 and re-joined Kwara Utd where he finally retired. He has since been living in Ilorin, the Kwara capital until his death on Thursday.

May his soul rest in peace,he was a good man,a great family man,a devoted christian, who was a redeemed parish pastor in ilorin, and he also had a football team self named that he was spending his time and resources on,he gave back to the society.

I pray God grant his wife, his little kids, his family, the redeemed church and abacha boys the grace to bear his loss, and help to move on in life.

Mr Agboola's statements means that he died when Nigeria needed him most to contribute to youth development not to play world cup qualifiers and world cup matches as your first post suggests

no!
You can't say precisely what mr agboola was trying to say since he wasn't precise.
Mr agboola said this is the time nigeria needs him most. What is happening now in nigerian football if not World cup qualifiers and later, world cup.
