It is a normal thing which goes on when an accident occurs. There are people who claim to help victims but their main targets is to rob the victims whether they are dead or alive. Some even go to the extent of stealing the victims' phones which would have aided in contacting the victims' families. It shows the level of poverty in this country.

The bottomline is there were good number of survivors in the crash, the highest recorded so far in the history of plane crashes in Nigeria. That's something we should be thankful about. cool

1. the dead don't spend dough, except maybe in nollywood

2. even if they do spend money in heaven, I assure you it wont be naira

3. the money from the victims was probably stolen from public funds, so it has gone right back to where it belongs

you want them to hand the money over to the police.......................niqqa please!

wake up and smell the coffin, coffee

That's absolutely correct.....it's a bitter truth and sadly many Nigerians has lost their self esteem and sheer human dignity by not applying common sense ,but common sense is no longer common.....don't they say? grin

Who should they return the money to?
1.Nigeria police?
2.Federal government?
And I can guarantee the money stole from the dead belong to those sharing it, these are money looted from states aand they were meant for burial wastages. Everybody involve apart from plane crew were guilty of sharing part of loot but sad, they were dead.... It would have been lovely if the money was taking from their pocket while they were alive.

lets just say if i find myself in a situation where those in charge loot all the money and life for me is a struggle everyday. i cant afford hospitals or a car or decent food and i live in face me i face you in mafoluku, i cant guarantee you that i would not be amongst the pugilists who are duking it out for the money found in the crashed plane. it is highly likely that i would karate chop a few people and body slam a few to get to the money first. highly likely. grin grin

You have a point though, even though people wouldn't see it from that angle if it had happened in Igbo land.
