These Ibos are the most DIVISIVE ethnic group in Nigeria.

They've succeeded in turning the GEJ Presidency as the most divisive in the history of Nigeria.

They read tribalism...persecution....victimization into every action or utterances from anyone that is not Ibo

.....and they wonder why every other tribe in Nigeria is suspicious about giving them power......if they can be this divisive under an Ijaw man Presidency...what would they do if Nigerians allow one of them to lead the nation.? undecided

Incredible! Occultic Officials In Aviation Ministry Behind Plane Crashes
In another development, former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, on Monday told the Senate committee probing the N19.5 billion scandal in the aviation sector that the air disasters recorded in 2006 were the handiwork of occult groups operating within the aviation sector.

The former minister said the bloodsucking cult group was also responsible for the difficulties encountered by the government of former President Olusegun Obasanjo in sanitising the aviation industry despite all efforts in that regard.

He said the air accidents which involved the Sosoliso Airline, ADC, Bellview, a military plane and the other air disasters which occurred in Kaduna all within a year in Nigeria were the handiwork of the occultists.

He told the probe panel that there were more to the air disasters than met the eye because some “demons from hell were involved,” adding that former President Obasanjo specifically appointed him to assist Nigeria in containing the incessant plane crashes.

He recounted the frustrations he encountered in his attempt at sanitising the industry, recalling that he once engaged the services of aviation experts from the United States to put a stop to the air disaster only for the efforts to be frustrated.

He recalled how his efforts to set up an independent public inquiry into the air disasters were frustrated by those he described as the dark forces, as he charged the Senate committee to facilitate the setting up of a public enquiry on the rot within the industry.

Fani-Kayode said he found it unbelievable that despite the huge misfortunes suffered by Nigeria in human and material terms from the air disasters, the federal government could not find anyone to hold responsible, a reason he said the problem had continued to persist.

These dark forces simply did not care that the lives of innocent Nigerians were being endangered by their daily ritual of cutting corners in order to make a bit of extra money. They did not care that their habitual breaking of the rules and regulations would inevitably lead to a monumental and horrific cycle of bloodshed.

“Not only did they not care, but some of them actually enjoyed the prospect: What we were dealing with was a cruel and unconscionable blood cult who derived their power and strength from a frenzied and insatiable lust for blood.

“Is it not strange that not one person has ever been brought to book or held accountable for any of these crashes? No one has ever been sanctioned, indicted or even prosecuted for criminal negligence at the very least. That is how cheap life has become in Nigeria and that is how easily Nigerians forget. The truth is that the questions must still be asked —“What really happened in the Bellview crash?”

Fani-Kayode told the committee that in spite of the battles he had with the cult group within the industry, he was able to put in place some measures such that his tenure did not record a single plane crash.

The former minister washed his hands of the alleged misappropriation of the N19.5 billion Aviation Intervention Fund, claiming that he rather left N7 billion in the accounts of the ministry at the time he left. [/quote[

http://www.tribune.com.ng/01072008/news/news1.html NigerianTribune newspaper of today.

The same occult groups who made him pay our N15 billion Aviation fund into his personal account

I dont like FFK as a person (for his antecedents during OBJ's tenure), even though l am Yoruba like him but l detest nitwits like you who just for the sake of TRIBAL HATRED, will twist the words of someone, lie brazenly against someone and even try to manipulate facts.... just to score cheap tribal points!

Like FFK, l dont like to banter with women grin grin grin but l am not surprised that you did not see the wisdom in what FFK was saying even in the 'publication' you posted, to NAIL HIM.

Anyone who attended a half-decent school will easily realize that FFK was speaking METAPHORICALLY when he said "Demons and Occultists" were responsible for the air crashes that happened during the discuss with the Senate.

Jezzuz, dont you people study that English textbook "Lexis and structure", in school anymore? angry angry

To buttress my point about his "figure of speech" and show that he was not speaking "literally", l have highlighted a few lines in his post.

e.g: 'Those he described as "dark forces", ........."the govt has not been able to hold anyone responsible despite the huge human loss" ......
"initiation of a public inquiry" .......... These "dark forces do not care about the life of anyone" ....... "they engaged in RITUALS of Cutting Corners"
and so one and so forth! Demons dont cut corners to make money, only "humans" do! wink

He has identified "a group of powerful individuals" who have become "untouchable" and that he referred to them as "a cult of Demons" ... in the sense that their "actions" causes death (spilling of blood via air accidents) and thus "Blood sucking Demons" that he referred to.

FFK even recently, called Stella Oduah "a Vampire" to allude to the fact that she superintends over an Ministry that "spills blood" ..not that she is a 'literal vampire" as some twats like you would soon imply!

Now, l will cut you some "slack" for not having a clue about what a Harvard trained SAN was talking about, not with the kind of "failed education" products that Nigerian educationla system churns out on a yearly basis.
You are an epitome, representation and reflection of such products.

Even more disturbing is the fact that you FAILED TO DIGEST (l guess you are too bitter and angry at the Yoruba folks! grin ) the last line of the write=up where he affirmed to the Senate Hearing that "His (FFK) Tenure" did NOT record a single air crash!

Gawd, even if yo are blind, you should still be able to read that naah!

Do your research (but dont do it when you are burning with hatred, it beclouds your judgement!) ...... and confirm that during FFK's tenure, there was not a single air crash in Nigerian air space. I stand by that.

I knew most of you lambasting FFK are doing it out of tribal hatred, you failed to see the sense in his criticizing his successor who instead of taking a cue from previous occupiers of that "delicate office", resorted to the hypocritical level of shifting blame to God, knowing he is a patient God, let her try Ahmadioha if thunder will not strike her down asap!

As far we know, the only qualification that this woman, (like Bianca Ojukwu) have to occupy that position is because she is a "friend" to GEJ or one of his buddies! Thus, when you are clueless and you surround yourself with clueless people like this Stella Oduah, calamity upon calamity is bound to trail your govt. No be curse!

Lastpage!

BTW: Those of you who think "painting the Arrival hall" as Stella Odua is doing, is the hallmark of a successful Aviation Minister, l pity you a lot.
Most of you anyway have not travelled outside to see airports in other countries ..... (or at best, you only went as far as the arrival/departure halls, when collecting your family members grin ) grin .....and the "surrounding infrastructure", ..... mot to talk about the "safety record' of those countries. You will never understand what FFK is talking about. I would rather drive on Nigeria's bad roads that fly any of our "local flights".

I am equally amazed that people like u are on nairaland. notin differentiates u from other short sighted and uninformed people on this sites. if u are clever as u want to make people think u would know that this is a country were people out of power bcomes critics and when in power criticise anyone to sees the slighest thing wrong in the govt they are serving. u appraised the mssg of a man who during his tenure blamed witches and wizards for aircrashes. a man who stole a staggering N19billion aviation fund. u did not ask urselve what are his achievements when he was minister. Truly IBB was correct when he said nigerians have very short memories.

nokingasgod: Every day it amazes me how Nigerians of Nairaland evolved. They are pathologically bigotic, ignorant, uncouth, crude, biased, short-sighted and ill-informed. If these are true representative of average Nigerians, then there is no hope for the Nigerian project.

I am not a fan of FFK and neither am I a hater, I would rather we appraised his message and not his personality because you don't throw the baby with the bath. The incessant air mishaps in recent times is more than enough reason for the minister of aviation to have been sacked. In civilized environment she would have voluntarily resigned because as far as aviation is concerned in Nigeria, the bucks stopped on her table. And as if to give credence to FFK's comments, the minister came out not only to further demonstrate her insensitivity and naivety but to also insult Nigerians using languages most unbecoming of her position.

Rather than the ''crucify him'' song on FFK, think we should critically looked into some of the assertions he made in that essay and see how the insights could be useful in preventing future air crashes. That does not make FFK a saint who could not be reproached when necessary.

We should not allow our hatred for a personality to becloud our senses of reasoning, judgment and decision.

I think it's high time this fellow called fain kayode or whatever he's called slow down on the quantity of cocaine that he's consuming else he will soon find himself on the streets roaming and raving mad.who many transport ministers has been asked to resign bcs of all the road accidents that is happening all over ther country?hw many air crashes did we experience under OBJ'S regime in-which this tout called fani kayode served in even as an aviation minister?ofcourse accidents are inevitable,it happens everywhere all over the world even in the US OF A,infact under obama's regime,Americans has had more air crashes than we have had in Nigeria since the coming of this administration and the aviation minister has not been asked to resign, nobody is happy over the crash but I think is high time people stop being partisan in everything.i will advice that fani kayode be taken to a care center and chained and be treated of his drug addiction till he's fit again, else he will soon go on the street naked bcs the thing is too much in his system.

I doubt if any relative or the DANA or Associated Airtlines crash victims are in support of Stella Oduah. Femi Fani-kayode should be supported on this issue before another crash welcomes Nigeria good morning again.

When other tribes were heading the aviation ministry..and there were crashes, the call to relieve the head of the Ministry was done by MOST Nigerians across ethnic divide.....nobody was defending them based on tribal affiliations.

What do we have now.......once you question the competency of the woman and suggest that she is remove...the Ibos get extremely defensive...insulting..cursing and abusing everybody.

When shoul Nigerians talk in your view? When 20 aircraft collide and kill 3000 people?

Only an irresponsible minister of an irresponsible goverment could make such blasphemous, insensitive and discourteous statement.

Few years ago, i wept for the country when an airline owner, buba marwa admitted and said openly that they cut corners. Now this minister instead of buckling up is asking someone whose term never experienced a crash, to bow his head in shame. She should just resign, as she is so incompetent based on what she has been spitting.

some people on nairaland are just damn disgusting and incorrigible in their thinking. I have said it several times that this present minister of aviation is doing more harm than good, but people would not let us air our views.

Planting flowers and remodelling doesn't go in tandem with safety and security. This current minister has abandoned her ministerial duties for some humongous projects which doesn't have any meaningful impact on the safety and security of passengers

our airports are stil deteriorating day by day, the facilities are decaying, no airport in Nigeria still has perimeter fencing, some equipments needed at the airports are still begging for attention, the MMIA can't still boast of any air condition, our airspace is far from being safe despite the enormous propaganda being processed to the media, etc.

immediately Demuren was removed as DG of NCAA, Stella Oduah brought over 300 people who are mainly igbos to NCAA as staff. infact, under 2012 Civil Aviation Policy, the power to license and regulate the airlines has been shifted from the DG of NCAA to the horrendous minister of aviation, and yet, some gulible folks still have the mouth to question our rationale for criticising the minister

It will soon clear from their eyes as nothing lasts forever.

i think i'd go with Fani kayode, this lady has to be dropped its clear that she is a green horn in the aviation business hence a more experienced person should be allowed to see the affairs of the the aviation sector. As for me i would prefer a past pilot or retired airforce officer should be allowed to handle the aviation sector pls. lives are been lost every day we should'nt treat nigerians as guinea pigs ok
