Should Christians In War-torn Countries Pay Tithe? by Marchman: 2:35pm On Oct 11, 2013
I have been wondering lately how Nigerian religious leaders, especially of the Pentecostal guise, have promoted tithes above grace. For them, it even appears more important than salvation. It is about money, money, money and more money. It has made me to wonder whether christians who are caught up in war, say Syria, should pay tithes, considering that there is little to eat and great uncertainty. How would pastors justify tithe in such a situation?
