This is definitely a bad development. So cultism is officially recognized in Edo State? What happens to the security forces? Ain't they working in Edo State any longer? Or they are now part of the intervention group formed by the cult leaders? This doesn't make sense at all. This is simply like asking for a favour from the devil. He'll so grant you but you wait and hear his own demands for reward then tell him you won't grant them! Very soon, the government of Edo State would be hijacked by this cult boys. Because their success to bench the security forces is to take control of the state. And in the near future, if you don't belong to a cult group, nothing for you in government. I condemn this development in totality. The security forces should rise to their responsibilities. 1 Like |

Tuntheycr7: This is what am saying. You don't try this especially as a government. The whole issue would be complicated at the end. |

This is so funny. . Only in Nigeria where any sh*t goes. And they failed to realise that most of the robberies, kidnapping and other vices were/are being carried out by these cultists... People who always see their rivals as potential threats. People who believe in violence. Need I say more about various killings on campuses across the nation? The Lagos, Calabar, Enugu, Awka-Ibom. Epkoma etc. Recently, I read about some group of cult boys that were caught in Kogi east with a snatched car... People who drinks and do drugs... I'm so sure that they will soon start to ask for amnesty. I'm not surprised though, cos even the previous saga involving the Rivers house of assembly was backed up with cult activities. Obviously, some of these so called sh*ts we've got as political leaders are cultists and use cultists to commit crimes like ballot box snatching, assassinations etc. Such a huge shame. |

This is a very bad move, ain't gonna work one bit. Well, if police and other security egancies have been up to the task, this would not have happened. |
