Could someone in-house help clarify this. Is it true that the British Embassy requires NYSC certificate to grant student visa. I just secured an offer in one scottish school, and presently serving. But I intend to boycot service come Sept. and enrol in the school, but i learnt British Embassy now denies student visa application based on non-completion of compulsory nysc service. Is this true?  |

No Except its a new policy for 2008 cos i know a couple of people that abandoned service for masters in UK last year |
