Just watched bloomberg tv this night, 14th Oct, listening to the Minister of Communication on their visit to silicon valley. The major point I got from the discussion was when she said Nigeria can be connected to the internet in 5 years if provided the funds. According to her, they've been approached by the facebook team in line with facebook connecting the world to the internet in 5 years....

Please my Nigerian people, how possible is this when we're still battling power for the past 60 years.... or do they expect to run all the data station with generators? How do they expect the internet to be affordable in Nigeria with such a move...

She also said they are in silicon valley to know what they can take back home to help Nigerians create worldwide used websites and application.... I don't just understand this country...

She speaks well though and I'm impressed with the way she handled the interview...flashes back to Amanpour vs Jonathan...
