Real_Alfranco: In the bible,da word 'Trinity' wasn't mentioned at all...not even once!!! But I think da word was used 2 show/explain 2 us da ways God reveals himself 2 man... in the book of Genesis,God(the father)revealed himself 2 Adam nd Eve. The birth of Jesus Christ(the son)... And God reveals himself 2 us thru da Holy Spirit, when we accept Christ as our Lord nd Saviour( Acts 1:7;Acts 2) The above bold is Not true! God NEVER revealed himself to Adam and Eve. It was Jesus that was with them. God NEVER leaves his throne. Gen 3v8 KJV 8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. Jesus is the Word of God. Jn 1v1 that word came walking. @Op the Holyspirit is same as God, he proceeds from the father. God never leaves his throne, but manifest him self by the person of the Holyspirit and dwells in us and through us, does his will and wonders all over the world. |

Gombs: I have been tried to let people know that Jesus is the word of God. When talking about Trinity this is how people who first thought about it view it according to Athanasian "he said the truth about the UNITY of Godhead is this....they're three person, the Father is God, the Son is God and the Holyspirit is God. Yet they are not three Gods but one God, and these three person distinct from one another" According to this statement it is very clear that they are talking about ONE PERSON IN THREE FORMS NOT THREE PERSON IN THREE FORMS. I the major confusion came from the trinitarian themselves when they try to explain the Trinity by assuming that God transformed Himself into human being to save them NO! but rather God made His own word free of sin to became flesh and put all His uniqueness upon Him. While Holyspirit is the Spirit of God Himself. 1 Like |

boloase: accept Islam today n b free from manmade religion n its flaws.what prove have u got that Christianity is a "man made religion"? Please don't confuse Christianity with Christendom. Christianity was a reformation of Judaism which the Israelistes had corrupted. Since the Israelites chose to be disobedient to God, he decide to show super love to those who would obedient to his commands. Unlike Christendom who are those diverting away from the Bible and joining force with the world which God warned us against. Don't blasphame against Christianity cos of some people who u knw or hear of that are misleading people all in the name of "CHRISTIANITY" Jesus (the Son of God) is the founder of Christianity and he laid the conduct which Christianity should follow, I guess those derailers has made u become blind to the divinity of Christianity. Well, my advice is for u not to comment on issue like dis which u don't knw which is which. Hope u get my point?? |

The doctrine of the Trinity - that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are each equally and eternally the one true God - is admittedly difficult to comprehend, and yet is the very foundation of Christian truth. Although sceptics may ridicule it as a mathematical impossibility, it is nevertheless a basic doctrine of Scripture as well as profoundly realistic in both universal experience and in the scientific understanding of the cosmos. That there is only one God is not a question for debate, however, the notion of three persons in one God is backed up by the Holy Bible with references that are unquestionably superfluous. The Old Testament gives intimations that there are more than one Person in God. In Genesis 1:26, God says, ``Let us make man in our image and likeness.'' In Isaiah 9:6-7, God the Father revealed the imminent coming into the world of God the Son. In Psalms 2:7, we read, ``The Lord hath said to me: Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee.'' And in the New Testament, God reveals this doctrine even more clearly. For example, at the baptism of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove, and the voice of God the Father was heard: ``this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.'' (Matt. 3:16-17). The Bible reference regarding baptism sheds more light on the existence of the Trinity: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" (Matt 28:19) The above Bible extracts show that there is one name - God - and yet, three names - trinity. According to Henry Morris, PhD, and Martin E. Clark in their book titled "The Bible Has Answers", "God is a Tri-unity, with each Person of the Godhead equally and fully and eternally God. Each is necessary, and each is distinct, and yet all are one." They went further to assert that "The Father is the unseen, omnipresent Source of all being, revealed in and by the Son, experienced in and by the Holy Spirit. The Son proceeds from the Father, and the Spirit from the Son. With reference to God's creation, the Father is the Thought behind it, the Son is the Word calling it forth, and the Spirit is the Deed making it a reality." Thus, God exists as three persons but is one God, meaning that God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have exactly the same nature or being as God the Father in every way. Whatever attributes and power God the Father has, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have as well. Hence, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are also eternal, omnipresent, omnipotent, infinitely wise, infinitely holy, infinitely loving, and omniscient. |

There are certain mystries we cannot explain until we wear out this mortal body. There are certain things we cannot understand until we see him face to face in glory. We cannot explain these until we receive the GRACE, which he gives only to those who loves him. Besides, who are we to explain the mystry of the OMNIPOTENT! His ways are not our ways, NEITHER OUR THOUGHT HIS THOUGHT. And as the heavens is higher than the earth, so his thought is higher than ours. JUST PRAY THAT GOD WILL REVEAL HIMSELF TO YOU, FOR UNLESS YOU PERSONALLY ENCOUNTER HIM, READING THE BIBLE FROM GENESIS TO REVEALATION IS LIKE READING SHAKESPEAR's WORKS |

khattab02: Can you deny the fact that those verses are there In the bible? They are there but check what they say yourself. Like the one he quoted he said Jesus always says He is a prophet wherever He goes of which the verse he quoted says "when Jesus was coming on a horse people begin to ask who is this? And SOME PEOPLE replied say the prophet of Naserath now is it Jesus who called himself prophet or people? Can you see that? That's why I advise to read those verses whether it correlates what he's pointing out. So that it wont make the mistake that Muhammad made. Shalom! 2 Likes |
