Looking to send your ward to a great secondary school in Abuja? We’ll advise you to do a little background check on these schools as well to inform your decision on which schools to pick. Here are some of the top Secondary Schools in Abuja in case you’re searching for where to start;

American International School of Abuja

They’re the best and most expensive Secondary School in Abuja. Running an American based Education system this is a school patronized by the high and mighty of Abuja including Governors, ministers and diplomats and of course members of the local expatriate community. They have a very effective management team in place and your wards are in safe hands not forgetting their high academic standards.

Lead British International School – Boarding and Day (Gwarinpa)

This is another high class secondary situated in Gwarinpa. They have all the facilities in place that any standard 21st century school should own. Although they run a British style academic curriculum the school is wholly Nigerian – owned and managed by Nigerians.

Regent School – Boarding and Day (Maitama, Abuja)

International Community School, Jabi

Olumawu College, Wuse 2

A bit on the middle ground, Olumawu is relatively more affordable than the other schools on this list, but also of high standard. Founded in 1993 by one of Nigeria’s leading Educationists Margaret Olumawu, the school has lived up to its reputation of providing qualitative secondary schooling to Nigerians.
