Sincerely a lot of people still buy gadgets for show off. I guess the whole episode with blackberry didn't give them any common sense.

Don't buy a piece of technology because it is the latest, buy it because it gives value for money. Every manufacturer is trying to play on the gullible nature of consumers because everyone wants a huge share of the expanding smartphone market. So if you stop shipping out gadgets it starts looking like you don't matter anymore, truthfully very few consumers can tell the difference beyond aesthetics

If I have to dish out such money for a piece of tech, then it better gives me features that can wow me. The only thing I see there is faster faster and faster. If my current gadget runs all applications without lagging then faster doesn't do it for me.

People should learn to read reviews from tech experts not marketing executives, before they dole their hard earned cash to impress themselves.
