I would have been surprised if they said they will attend, bunch of clowns. These are they very people calling for the convocation of sovereign national conference. Today, GEJ has convened an event of similar magnitude yet they choose to play politics with it.
Let them not attend. It will not stop it from holding. There are so many Nigerians willing to participate.

grin grin grin APC peeps are simply funny. Dem dey vex say Jonathan was smart enough to call for national dialogue.
They know its a political asset ahead of 2015 elections. But it's late. Whether they like it or not, the dialogue will hold. grin

Nothing is more hypocritical from APC than this attempt at discrediting president Jonathan's move for national dialogue.
There has been an age long clamor for a jaw jaw on the structure of our nationhood, our unity, differences and sustainability of peaceful coexistence as one nation. Yorubas have been at the vanguard of this struggle for a genuine dialogue about Nigeria.

What is therefore surprising is this volte face by the Yoruba dominated APC. it all started dramatically when Tinubu returned from Ghana and made damaging remarks about the proposal for dialogue. Expectedly, his foot soldiers started speaking against the dialogue and when they convened a meeting to decide on the national dialogue, I knew this outcome was predetermined.

It's so unfortunate that such leaders will compromise such an opportunity for Nigerians to address teething problems on the altar of politics. Very unfortunate.

I'm so angry about these APC goons. What do they take Nigerians for
Are they not the ones who have been disturbing our eardrums with calls for sovereign national conference?
What is the difference between national dialogue and sovereign national conference?

President jonathan had assured that the report of the national dialogue will guide the process of constitutional amendment in the National Assembly. What else do they want? There is absolutely no way a Soverign national conference can be convoked in the face of a national Assembly elected by the people. Can't someone just talk sense into Tinubu and co?

My take too. It's all about politics. GEJ beat them to it. They are not happy because the dialogue has the prospects to increase the approval ratings of Mr president. Unfortunately, they dnt hve any option. They hve to join or remain onlookers in this national dialogue.

According to Oga Lia Mohammed "Besides, he said the Federal Government lacked credibility to organise such a conference. Mohammed said, “What we see today is that this government has lost focus; it has lost credibility, it has lost
control of the economy.
Insecurity and corruption have attained an uncontrollable proportion and at this point in time, this government lack the credibility to organise a meaningful national conference.
"

This guy is just a class clown. If the govt can not be trusted to organize a national conference, then why expect him to conduct elections in 2015. APC should come out clean and tell us why they don't want well meaning Nigerians to discuss the future of this country.
