I have noticed that whenever the flight attendants are giving instructions about emergency exits and other safety measures lots of people just don't pay attention, now someone will say that oh I have seen it many times, but the truth is that every airline and every aircraft may have different ways of doing things, where the emergency exits are may be different, different types of life vest may be used, in an accident where an aircraft crashed into the sea, most people die, not because of the impact, but because they don't know when and how to operate the life vest. The airline could very well have just written what you should do in a pamphlet, but because it is important they went ahead to make it not only visual but aural with a demonstration. Now I know someone will come and say oh in real events of an accident people wont be able to remember due to panic, the truth is you panic when you do not know what to do. So, the next time you are on that flight, biko! Nigerians pay attention to the demonstration it may save your life and save your family the grief. 1 Like |
