COMPARE AND CONTRAST!
VIEWS OF TWO PRESIDING OFFICERS OF NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ABOUT ASUU STRIKE.
(1) "Those who signed the
2009 agreement on behalf of the Federal Government were incompetent .... it only
shows the level of people
the executive sent to go
and negotiate on their
behalf .. .. ASUU simply took advantage of
the ignorance of those who were sent.." - SENATE
PRESIDENT, David Mark.
(2) "... If there is any need for
further appropriations to be made or any law to be amended to meet any of these conditions, the House of
Representatives is faithfully ready to expeditious address such
requests." -SPEAKER Aminu Waziri Tambuwal

So who should Nigerians believe and which of the 2 leaders makes more sense and is the best for Nigeria?

Tambuwal is ready to help the executive meets its obligation through apppropriation. This shows there is money for executive to fufill its obligations to ASUU.

That agreement calls for 26% yearly allocation to education. Can Tambuwal tell us where that money is coming from Speeches are fine, but ASUU seeks a NTrillion. Tambuwal should show us the money.

Cut numbers of embassies, presidential aircrafts, ambassadors, ministries and parastatals, estacodes, unnecessary travels with large entourage, oil bunkering, official cars, legislators largese, etc. Nigeria could be saving trillions on naira by cutting the waste I listed.
