Oga, better go change this your moniker. The first I saw "TheSauce" I celebrated the arrival of a genuine sauce after the unfortunate departure of Dplacement but clearly you yourself need one.

For some of us in Obodo Oyinbo. Decisions such as

1: Apply for new visa and job here
2: Come back home
3: Pay for rent obviously outside Rivers
4: Process relocation to Canada or Australia
5: Marry the love of your life, 1 year wait enough
Many more such decisions. It's not easy.

There's a series of tests conducted to ascertain fitness for work. I can't remember the details now but I once had a document from the US Army (or Navy Seals I think) that listed some of the tests conducted. Things like hearing, vision, issues with breathing, tuberculosis history, HIV etc. For those that smoke, don't even think of lying about it. It shows on the lungs x-ray

Vantage7 I'm yet to see a candidate fail medical on account of any ailment, no matter how stereotypical that ailment is.
The main purpose of having medical a is to establish a baseline for recruits and have records of your health status upon entry should the need for it comes up in the future

However sometime 2 years ago, SHELL came out from nowhere to drop ALL candidates that have had medical a with them and were awaiting their offer letters. No reason was given for such drastic action. In conclusion like someone said earlier, wait till you are set to resume with a definite date with appointment letter in hand before resigning from your current workplace.

Personally I'd say nobody knows the exact time feedbacks will be sent to post AC candidates, all we can do is wait patiently, pray to your God.... and be good at whatever you do 'A bird in hand kinda good'. Based on the information I gathered the last batch in 07' finished their AC then mid-july and didn't get any response till Early november, imagine the wait. So guys just be ready for the long-suffering just in case,All we have is FAITH for a better tomorrow. Keep your faith alive and endure in patience...And remember that you need God's favor! No be by power
