Rakim 6. Big L 7. Tupac That's in no particular order. You add Nas, Jay and Eminem to that list and you got my my 10 favourite lyricist of all time. |

But it was just all lies, narrating life he didn't live. Kayne knows Em is the boss, in their song Forever (drake ft...), he said when he saw Em's lyrics, he had to go back and re-write his for two days. JayZ, is not that a lyricist, though he is the boss when it comes to entendre. He is also known for plagiarism any way. Em kills anyone lyrically on any song. He is absolutely the boss. |

ToyinDipo: You gotta take back that statement that Nas was only lyrical on Illmatic. U need to go get (and listen to) his full catalog of albums before you make unreasonable conclusions. Nas went in on: It was written, Stillmatic and Godson not to mention some of his mix-tapes. Do you know people actually study Nas's lyrics in Howard and other Universities in the US? Go Figure!
