From the beginning, I knew the story is somewhat UI based. And from that I visualized everything. The most vivid of the picture was when you were at "Abefele's" office.

Nice story, by the way. But I think it could be more sophisticated.
All in all, it is a good work.

LAST NIGHT


Around 6:34 A.M. this morning. Akpan rushed out to open the gate for his Boss, Dr Martins, who has been at the gate for thirty minutes. He was away last night for an emergency operation on a patient at his hospital which is quite far away from home. He arrived home fatigued, hoping to go in immediately as usual at a blow of the horn but he was thwarted. Akpan was no where to be found when Dr Martins came down from his car to sneak a look into the guardroom. He began to wondered where on earth Akpan was. He was already frustrated, so he retired back to his car to get his mobile to call his wife.

“You better be reasonable!” he yelled back at his phone after the network has denied him access to his wife.

He dialed again but to no avail. “The number you have dialed is switched off,” he repeated after the voice that came from the service provider.

He stood at akimbo for several minutes before entering the car to blow the horn again. This time around, Akpan has been healed of his temporary deafness. Akpan came rushing to the gate with a speed faster than a BMW on an express road. He was still sweating profusely while trying to obliterate it with his old slacked BYC singlet. He was so confused; he swung the gates wrongly. Dr Martins folded his arms in his car looking at the movie Akpan was displaying at the gate. He finally drove in.

With much fury on his face, he asked, “where have you been?”

“I—I—wa—was—wasss—in—innsi–-inside.” Akpan stuttered.

Dr Martins laughed out so loud like a king in a Nollywood movie. “Inside where?” He asked mockingly.

“Inside my room Oga.” Akpan obliviously replied.

Dr Martins began to sense something dodgy. He paused for a minute and cogitated why his wife’s mobile was switched off; never has her number been off since they were married.

“I don’t have your time now, get lost!” He dismissed Akpan angrily.

He proceeded straightaway to his bedroom to grill his wife. Mrs Martins was still faithfully married to her bed. She have on a sexy pink negligee which could turn on any man in his senses.

“Hilda!” he called his wife with a soft voice but to no response.

“Hilda!” he added with a spank.

She twirled around, her eyes blazing. “Honey, you are back?” she arose from the bed to hug him.

He wasn't interested in the pleasantry so he proceeded straight to the point.

“Why is your mobile switched off?” he asked standing at akimbo.

“My mobile?” she questioned with a surprised look on her face.

She began to search for her phone all over the room. “Can you please beep my phone?” she pleaded with guilt in her heart.

“Guess I have been helping for about an hour now.” He replied looking at his wife confused.

She finally found it at the headboard and noticed it was actually switched off.

“Akpan is a fool. Who gave him right over my phone.” She almost said. “Am sorry Love, I don’t know how my phone went off.”

She pleaded while coming close to him. Dr Martins was not satisfied but he succumb to her explanation.

“Where was Akpan? He wan’t in the guardroom.”

“Where on earth would he have been?” She replied with an ignorant look on her face.

Mr Martins discarded the whole issue and wanted to repose after the vigil at the theater. He fell freely flat on his bed and noticed how unkempt the it was.

“Sweety, you didn't miss me at all last night.” He asked with a smile on his face.

“What makes you say so?” She asked fidgeting.

“The bed of course. You really played all around, scattering it.” He decided to lay the bed well.

“Wait!” she yelled.

She rushed and held his hands, kissed him so deeply and attempted to turn him on. He pulled back and insisted on laying the bed before any romantic sensation. She persisted and won. She removed her nightie and left open her sexy lingerie which wrapped her fat irresistible backside.

Dr Martins became a fool immediately, he began to pant like a dog. He was engulfed in the atmosphere of love. Hilda thought she had succeeded, not until Dr Martins’ wondering hand touched a wet rubber-like substance on the bed.

“What’s this I’m touching?” He curiously asked himself.

Hilda kept kissing and romancing him. His wondering thought at long last got an answer, it was a condom. He engulfed it irritatingly in his palm. He pushed her away from him.

“What happened, Honey?” She asked surprised.

“I have a gift for you.” He replied with a wicked smile on his face.

She happily requested for it, blowing herself with her two hands like a lady proposed to, hopping up and down on her knees. Dr Martins opened wide his palm. She became dumb and fainted after five seconds.

“Akpan!” He shouted angrily like a soldier saving a fellow comrade from an enemy attack. Akpan is nowhere to be found.
