NLNG Limited Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme 2014 by mrniceguyuc: 11:15am On Nov 02, 2013
Application for Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) 2014 Scholarships for Postgraduate Students in Nigeria is currently ongoing. Candidates who are interested in applying for the NLNG PG Scholarship should read the requirements and information on how to apply below.

Nigeria LNG Limited is pleased to call for applications from qualified candidates into the NLNG Post-Graduate Scholarship Scheme for entry into Masters Programmes in the United Kingdom in September 2014. The Scheme is administered by British Council Nigeria.

Criteria for Award
Potential beneficiaries must:

* be entering into a Masters programme in Engineering, Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, Management Sciences, Information Technology, Law and Medicine
* possess a 2 Class Upper degree in a relevant field of study
* have completed the NYSC programme
* be no more than 30 years of age
* be Nigerian nationals resident in Nigeria
* provide identification documents from their L.G.A.s
* provide evidence that they are available to travel in September 2014 if selected.

Application Closing Date
Applications for the NLNG 2014 Postgraduate Scholarship must be submitted not later than Friday, 15th November 2013

Method of Application for 2014 NLNG Limited Postgraduate Scholarship
Application forms for the scholarship can be downloaded by clicking here or visiting www.britishcouncil.org.ng Completed application form, along with an attached coloured passport photograph of applicant should be submitted via email to: nlngpgscholarship@ng.britishcouncil.org

Please do not attach any documents to the completed application form. Only application forms accompanied by a single passport photograph will be considered.

Applications into the Nigeria LNG Post-Graduate Scholarship Scheme will be received only via email; if you do not have regular access to the internet, you can download the form onto your personal computer and email it back after you have completed it.
Only applications sent to: nlngpgscholarship@ng.britishcouncil.org will be considered. Exceptions will only be given to applicants with ‘special needs’.

Have u been able to fill d downloaded form. I did download it but I can't tick d boxes provided
Seems d only option is to print it and fill it out manually wit ink, scan it nd mail it back
What do u think?

Download the form, you won't print it out and fill manually. It has to be filled in softcopy, saved and sent to the email.

To upload ur passport, first reduce the size of the passport (if it is too big), if it is not no need to reduce it. Next copy it and paste on the box provided for it. It will fit in nicely.

To tick the small boxes, double-click on the box and another small window will appear. Click on "check" , leave everyother thing as it is, then click ok. It will automatically be marked!

If you have issues filling online.U can fill it manually in black ink as d application suggest, then scan and send to the email address.

[b]A line Manager (In Human Resources terms) means your direct boss at your place of work or your direct supervisor; someone you are directly under! If you are working currently in other sector outside Education, you will agree with me that it is not wise to use your manager or supervisor as line manager because some of these people do not want the progress of those under them. You may gladly use them if they are supportive of your dreams or aspirations.
If you are currently unemployed, then you have no Line Manager. in this case, it is safer to use the HOD or a very senior lecturer of the department you graduated from in school. Am sure they will know you well, or if they dont just let them know that you have used them. Even if you are working elsewhere, you may also use your HOD as your line Manager.

In my case, it was pretty easy for me because i am an academic staff in one of the Federal Universities... so my Line Manager was simply my HOD.

I left it blank on my form since i don't i have a job yet. I don't think iy is compulsory you fill that part.
